Below is the presentation from last night's meeting. We will be updating you guys on information regarding the optional excursions. If you have not registered for them at this point, don't. We can register you at any point. But let us share a little bit of information before committing to a decision on them. Important that you review the slide near the end that lists all of things that need to be submitted/turned in. T-shirt money and tip money needs to go to Coach Reese ASAP. Forms need to go to Coach Campbell ASAP. Make sure note the meeting time at the school on Friday. Please don't make the group late. Remember that your 72 hour window for the departure Covid test begins on Tuesday at 1:00 pm. If you have been exposed, the test will be free. If you tell them it is for travel, it will likely cost you about $150. This is information from Synergy Wellness here in town...if anyone has an alternative, please let us know so that we can share. Please remember AT-HOME TESTS ARE NOT PERMISSIBLE. If you have any questions at all please let us know!

So sorry for the abrupt cancellation of our live meeting the other night. We were waiting on some important information to be confirmed and we now have it. Please see the following list of items that are SUPER important for you to make note of as some of it will require you to take action on a few things. We had an issue with the mums. Here is the shortened version of the story: Every year for a decade we have sold our mums our cost has been $5.95 and we have sold them at $12 each. The profit should therefore be $6.05. It was accidentally listed as $7.05 on our fundraising page. I am not really sure how that happened. To make matters worse, when I received the invoice from the company, the cost was listed as $7.45, an increase of $1.50 per mum. This change, of a decade's long price, was not conveyed to us when we touched base with them about selling again this year. To sum everything up, the total profit PER MUM came out to $5.30, .75 less than we have had in previous years. We are terribly sorry about this issue and have learned lessons to help us avoid this issue in the future. - If you would like to request to see any of the paperwork concerning the fundraiser to verify this information, we are more than glad to meet with you to share it. Again, we are terribly sorry. Thanks, The BHSTRAVEL Team Most of you have heard by this point after the Bon Voyage meeting for the fall break travelers that we have some disappointing news. I'll share that now for those who have not heard and I will follow that up with some REALLY exciting news.
Unfortunately, the Blue Man Group is not doing shows at this point in Boston. They have reopened their shows in NYC and Chicago but the Boston shows are still closed. We were very disappointed to learn about this. However... Coach Campbell did some digging and found out that the Boston Symphony Orchestra is performing during BOTH trips. After a much anticipated wait on word from EF as to whether they could acquire group tickets we found out today that we ARE IN FACT going to see a performance of the Boston Symphony on BOTH trips! Also, as a result of missing the Blue Man Group and the Red Sox Game you should see a credit back to your accounts by the time your tour date draws near. Let us know if you do not see that credit on your account. We're getting close to take off! For those heading off in a couple of weeks, have a GREAT time! For those heading out in November, don't forget our MANDATORY meeting on October 28th at 6:00 pm. We will go over the itinerary, flight details, Covid policies, etc. Please, please...do not miss this meeting. Thanks!!! Parents: Please watch this video for more information on our 2023 domestic and international trips. It is roughly 40 minutes long but PLEASE...if you think you may want to sign up, watch it all. LINK TO VIDEO OF PRESENTATION Before you may participate in any of our fundraisers you must print, read, sign, and turn in the attached form (it is also found on our fundraiser page). Folks, we love you guys and we love doing what we do for you all. But we aren't messing around this year with irresponsibility regarding fundraising. Make sure to read the policies and procedures. You will lose your ability to fundraiser for your trips if you do not follow these policies and procedures. As far as the mums fundraiser... Every year, I seem to be left sitting in the parking lot of the church waiting, 2 hours past the deadline, for someone to pick up their mums. I am not doing that this year. If you do not pick up your mums by 7:00 pm on September 30th, they will be loaded and taken to a local nursing home for a donation. If you do not agree to this, then do not sell mums. It is as simple as that. The mums fundraiser is our BIGGEST and MOST PROFITABLE fundraiser of the year. Do not miss out on $7.05 profit per mum on a $12 mum. Most people will by multiples. The order form and the flyer can be found by going to the fundraising page. You may print these off and begin selling as soon as you have submitted your fundraiser agreement form attached below (and on the fundraising page). Our August 26th meeting is ONLY for those interested in traveling in 2023 or for those who are interested in learning more information about what we do and how we do it. If you are already signed up for a trip, you do NOT have to attend this meeting.
At this meeting we will announce our 2023 international and domestic trips. We will also open up registration this evening. We will have stations setup to help anyone registration that night who is interested. PLEASE RSVP.
