So sorry for the abrupt cancellation of our live meeting the other night. We were waiting on some important information to be confirmed and we now have it. Please see the following list of items that are SUPER important for you to make note of as some of it will require you to take action on a few things. - Name Confirmation: Folks, this is due by THIS SATURDAY, Feb 12th. You need to log on to your EF account and verify the spelling of your name. It MUST match your ID or you will not be allowed to pass through TSA security. That would be a shame to have to leave you behind. Do this TODAY. It takes 30 seconds...probably less.
- Vaccination Requirement: Per NYC policy (as well as many of the other big cities) a vaccination requirement is currently in place. This means that all travelers must be fully vaccinated by 14 days before departure. If you are not fully vaccinated and plan to do so, you will need it completed by May 29th. --- There is always the chance that this could change at any moment (this is what we were hoping would change as we began to see NYC announcing the end of their "mask or vax" rule indoors). However, you ONLY have until Feb 23rd to make up your mind because that is the last day that you can request either A) a refund with partial loss of your payment depending upon your insurance level if you purchased any, or B) a travel voucher. If you have any questions about the vaccination issues or cancellation policies, you will need to call customer service. The number is on the NYC page.
- Regarding number 1 above: I need you to send me a text or an email confirming that you ARE or WILL BE fully vaxed for the trip - OR - confirming that you will in fact not be and will be opting out of the trip. Need to this ASAP. I will check your name off of my list when I have your text/email.
- 110 Deadline: February 23rd is a big day...my birthday. :) But it is also the day of the deadline for many very important items which will be listed below.
- Negative Covid Test: All travlers must provide negative Covid PCR or Antigen Test results before departure. The test must be taken within 72 hours of departure. We will provide some more clarification on this shortly.
- Payment Plans: if you are on a MANUAL PAYMENT PLAN you will need to either A) switch to automatic payment plan or B) be paid in full by Feb. 23rd. If for some reason you are having an issue with payments, please call 888-333-9756 to discuss payment arrangements. If you miss this deadline you will be hit with a $99 late fee and/or removed from the trip by EF. Please take are of this NOW.
- Rooming: If you decide to upgrade (or downgrade) your rooming, you will need to do this by Feb 23rd by calling traveler support at the number on the NYC page. Remember, if you did not pay for an upgraded room, adults will be in a room with another adult and students will be in a 4-person room.
- Broadway Vote Results: We are submitting the requests as follows as a result of the vote. It is listed in order of our desired selections. But if they cannot get tickets for the first selection they will move on to the next selection: Hadestown, Wicked, To Kill a Mockingbird, Harry Potter.
