Please see the image below for opportunities to volunteer at the VBC for $8.25 an hour toward your trip! This is in addition to the Havoc dates. I have also attached the information form regarding volunteering which also includes the Havoc Hockey game dates. Remember, just email or text me if you want to work and then I will confirm and let you know. If you commit to work, do not cancel. Treat this like a job. Let us know if you have any questions!
We have 2 new fundraisers coming up in the next 2 months!
Campbell's Chicken Stew Fundraiser:
Mark's March Madness Meat Sale:
*More information about both of these fundraisers as well as order forms can be found on the "Fundraisers" section of the website!* Here's the low down on the fundraiser works. - The VBC needs volunteers to work their events in the concessions areas. Any person 16 years of age or older can participate. Parents can sign up to work for students under the age of 16. The pay is $8.25 an hour...tax free. You can have more than one person working to earn money for you. For instance, if a child is traveling on a trip, he or she as well as mom and dad can sign up to work. This kid is now making $24.75 an hour to put towards the trip. The checks, along with the names of the volunteers and the breakdown of money earned for each, will be cut to the school to be deposited here. I will then have it sent of to EF for you.
I will be sending out the schedule through Remind ONLY, not through email. This will be first come first serve. They REALLY need workers for the Havoc games. Their rep told me that they need 30 for each game and they barely make it to 30 on every game. the average work hours are 3-5 hours depending on the event. I will receive an email with an event, I will send that out, and then you have to respond to me if you want to work it. Once you respond that you want to work, you need to follow through. If you don't show up for a shift, you will not be allowed to work again. You also must work the ENTIRE shift. You may not leave early. Checks are cut every other Thursday, just FYI. I have sent out an EMAIL with a list of VBC expectations pertaining to dress code, parking for volunteers, and other expectations. Please read this over before you commit. Also, a HUGE thank you to Mrs. Laura Henderson for connecting us to this great opportunity. We really appreciate it! Thanks, Coach Reese Within the next few days we will be sending out information regarding a fundraising opportunity through the VBC. They are looking for volunteers to work concessions and you will get money applied to your travel accounts for doing so. Mrs. Laura Henderson is going to help us run this as our point of contact with the VBC. More details to come soon. -> IF YOU WOULD POSSIBLY LIKE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS OPPORTUNITY, please comment below. It does not commit you to participating but it gives us an idea of how many are interested. Thanks!
All Italy and Greece travelers: ALL travelers MUST have submitted a passport application by January 6th. Coach Campbell will hold a meeting that week and we are asking that all travelers bring proof of purchase either in the way of a receipt or the actual passport. More information to come but please get this done over Thanksgiving break or Christmas Break. See the website below for more information and to print an application.
